Teryn Isabel Mitchell is currently pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience at Columbia University School of Medicine. Previously, she worked at MIT and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School where she studied the role of viral and bacteria entrapment in Alzheimer’s Disease. Outside of research, she is particularly passionate about anything entrepreneurial. A few past endeavors include independent contract work with the pharmaceutical company, Bayer, ideation work for several AI and Stanford startups, and consulting for the Department of Defense. She is excited to combine her scientific expertise in microbiology/immunology with her passion for creative problem solving via NSVD’s COVID-19 consultancy.
